I wrote this song as an homage to the great OG Country singers of the past, like Merle Haggard, George Jones and Willie Nelson.  The harmonica part is based on some of my favorite players like Charlie McCoy and Mickey Raphael.  You might also notice something I do from time to time and that is to include a snippet of a song.  Here you’ll hear a snippet of “Help Me Make It Through The Night” by Kris Kristofferson as well as “Row, row, row your boat”.
